    PRESENTATION OF THE RESULTS OF NEW RESEARCH ON THE LANDSLIDE INVENTORY MAP AND LANDSLIDE SUSCEPTIBILITY ZONING MAP IN PRIMORJE–GORSKI KOTAR COUNTY

    The Institute for Physical Planning of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Rijeka and the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering of the University of Zagreb presented two scientific and scholarly studies that, using modern technologies, contribute to a better understanding of geological risks and to ensuring a better basis for spatial planning and damage prevention.

    FIRST RESULTS OF DETAILED VULNERABILITY ANALYSIS OF THE ENDANGERED PARTS OF THE COAST OF PRIMORJE-GORSKI KOTAR COUNTY PRESENTED AT THE RIJEKA ASSOCIATION OF ARCHITECTS

    On 1st July 2016, the first results of a detailed vulnerability analysis of the endangered parts of the coast of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, prepared by the Institute for Physical Planning of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Rijeka, were presented at the Rijeka Association of Architects.

    Today we are already feeling the consequences of climate change through increasingly frequent extreme weather events, such as heavy rainfall, heat waves, storms and coastal flooding.     BILATERAL MEETING HELD BETWEEN CROATIAN AND ITALIAN PARTNERS ON THE CRESCO ADRIA PROJECT

    Representatives of the Institute for Physical Planning of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, members of the working team for the implementation of the EU project CRESCO Adria within the INTERREG IT-HR 2021-2027 programme, participated in the third bilateral meeting for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and good practices in climate change adaptation in the coastal area.

    The meeting was held on 19th and 20th May 2026 in the city of Pescara, Italy, as part of the first work package of the project: Integral adaptation in the spatial planning process.
