  • Great interest was expressed for the use of the mentioned system and 29 units of local self-government have signed a contract with the Institute about connection to the Physical Planning Information System of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. The project enables all registered users, a total of 113, access to the data which the Institute regularly updates and maintains.

    In the meantime we have upgraded the system with new data and functionalities, as well as with an additional applicative solution related to the easier implementation and monitoring of the programme of the disposal of agricultural land under the ownership of the Republic of Croatia.

  • Employees of the Institute for Physical Planning attended the ESPON seminar under the title ‘Territorial cohesion after 2020: the integrated territorial development for better policies’, organised in collaboration with ESPON EGTC and the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, and within the framework of the ESPON 2020 Cooperation Programme, whose aim is to support the development of policies for the promotion of territorial cohesion and the harmonious development of European territory.

    The aim of the seminar was to discuss the territorial evidences of ESPON and offer new insights into the creation of policies which relate to the key themes of current debates.
