With the wish to bring spatial planning closer to the public, the Institute for Physical Planning of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County has developed the mobile app VidiPlan. The app is available for two mobile platforms (Google Android and Apple iOS), it is free to download and intended for a wide group of users.

The app allows an overview of the spatial plans in the region of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County via your GPS location, by moving around on the map or entering a required address. In the results of the identification for a selected location the basic information about the plan, links to its textual and graphic part in a digitally signed PDF format and a description of the associated georeferenced maps are provided.

The forum, upon the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the construction of the Zagreb-Rijeka railway track, was organised by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce - the County Chamber Rijeka alongside sponsorship from the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure and in collaboration with Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, the Port of Rijeka Authority, Croatian Railways Infrastructure, Croatian Railways Cargo, Croatian Railways Passenger Transportation, the Croatian Association of Railway engineer and the company Manšped.
