Representatives of the Institute for Physical Planning of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County visited the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Rijeka, where they presented the work and activities of the Institute to the students, as well as the importance of spatial planning in the development of the local community.
During the meeting, the students had the opportunity to learn about the fields that the Institute works in, the process of creating spatial plans, as well as the opportunities and challenges that spatial planning brings in modern spatial development. Special emphasis was placed on the interdisciplinary nature of the profession as well as the collaboration with various stakeholders in planning high-quality and sustainable spaces.
Representatives of the Institute introduced the students to their daily work through practical examples and current projects in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, and the meeting turned into an open discussion and exchange of experiences.
