The Institute for Physical Planning of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Public Institution is striving to make its website accessible in accordance with the Law on the Accessibility of Websites and Software Solutions for Mobile Devices of Public Sector Bodies of the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette, no. 17/19; hereinafter: Law) which conveys Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and Council of 26th October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (SL L 327, 2.12.2016.). This Accessibility Statement applies to the network centre of the Institute for Physical Planning of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, which is found at https://zavod.pgz.hr/.

This website is partially compliant with the Law due to the inaccessibility of the content listed hereafter.
Inaccessible content
The Institute for Physical Planning of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County carried out an initial assessment of the compliance of its website with accessibility requirements and found that due to the disproportionate load, certain parts were not in accordance with the aforementioned. This concerns the following:
- the images on the front page do not have a suitable description because the current functionality of the system for publishing pages within the mentioned network centre does not support it,
- the images published in previous news announcements do not have textual descriptions,
- some links do not have a suitable description, and the links on the front page that are located below the name of the theme are not highlighted, so the user does not immediately recognise that they are links,
- some .PDF documents were not created by exporting from a source file of Microsoft Office Word or another tool, with the choice of accessibility options, but by the scanning of printed documents, so they are not readable for screen readers,
- the contact form does not have a corresponding description for screen readers,
- part of the banner on the title page is not readable in screen readers for technical reasons,
- the selection of sections of the Excerpt from the Spatial Plan of the County is not coordinated due to the technical limitations of the software,
- the exhibition How to Read a Spatial Plan is currently not coordinated because it is located outside the network centre of the Institute,
- the Geoportal is not coordinated because the Law on Accessibility of Websites and Software Solutions for Mobile Devices of Public Sector Bodies of the Republic of Croatia, in accordance with Article 3, paragraph 2. d. does not apply to online maps and online mapping services if key information is provided in an accessible digital way for maps intended for use during navigation.
Preparation of this Accessibility Statement
This statement was composed on 14th September 2020, according to the Accessibility Statement Template in line with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and Council about the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, and it is determined by the Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523. The assessment of compliance with the accessibility requirements is the result of a self-assessment of the Institute for Physical Planning of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. The Institute will regularly revise this statement after removing the reasons why certain content was inaccessible.
