For the sixth year in a row, the Institute organised the Open Doors Days event.
As we were prevented to host students in our offices this year due to the Coronavirus epidemic, we moved our Open Doors Days event to the virtual world.
Our goal is to introduce students to spatial planning and direct them to further education in the field of spatial planning.
The first five years of the Institute’s Open Doors were extremely well attended and proved to be very useful for the students as well as the professors. In the previous years the Open Days event was visited by students of the Civil Engineering School in Rijeka, the First Rijeka Croatian Secondary School and the Andrija Mohorovičić Secondary School of Rijeka.
Although this year we did not have the opportunity to talk live with the students, we believed that a virtual introduction to spatial planning would be useful for new generations of students and get them interested in some of the professions that are involved in the production of spatial plans.
