    THE PRESENTATION OF THE MAP OF THE INVENTORY OF LANDSLIDES OF PART OF GORSKI KOTAR – MORE THAN 6,000 RECORDED INSTANCES

    On 25th June 2025, the Institute for Physical Planning of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Rijeka presented the scientific and professional study entitled The Inventory of Landslides in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County – Part of the Gorski Kotar Micro-region at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Rijeka.

    The scientific and professional study was presented by the project leaders, with an introduction by Gorana Ljubičić, M.Arch., leading spatial planner of the Institute for Physical Planning of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, and Prof Petra Jagodnik, PhD, assistant professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Rijeka, spoke about the conducted research.

    This is the most detailed study of landslides in this area to date, conducted on an area of 474 km², with the aim of better understanding the geological risks and ensuring a better basis for spatial planning and damage prevention.
