  • As we were prevented to host students in our offices this year due to the Coronavirus epidemic, we moved our Open Doors Days event to the virtual world.

    Our goal is to introduce students to spatial planning and direct them to further education in the field of spatial planning.

    The first five years of the Institute’s Open Doors were extremely well attended and proved to be very useful for the students as well as the professors. In the previous years the Open Days event was visited by students of the Civil Engineering School in Rijeka, the First Rijeka Croatian Secondary School and the Andrija Mohorovičić Secondary School of Rijeka.

  • The programme was adopted by Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in collaboration with the Centre.

    In collaboration with the Centre and the Institute for Physical Planning of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County a GIS application was developed that provides an insight into the currently available agricultural land owned by the Republic of Croatia made available to individual local self-government units. Users of the application simply search and filter the agricultural land according to spatial and qualitative criteria and receive a description of the existing and planned forms of the availability as well as the duration of the availability of the agricultural land.
